RESOURCES AVAILABLE AT THE LIBRARY OF WARSAW SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS

The Library of Warsaw School of Economics is opened 7 days a week, from 8.30 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Sundays from 10.00 a.m. to 3 p.m.)*, the SGH Library grants free access on location to its resources for every interested user.

The rich holdings in Polish and in other languages are organized in several collections.
Each collection is available in a respective department on precisely defined conditions:
• in the Reading Rooms - on site - by free access or by library order slip;
• in the Lending Library - for home-studying - by borrowing.
The exact information about the item, its location and conditions of its use can be found
on-line, thanks to the electronic Catalogue ALEPH, in use in the SGH Library since 1995.

More specialized services are offered by other relevant departments, as for example:
• the Reference Centre that
- ensures the professional help in bibliographic research in the field of economics
and social sciences in the widest sense,
- provides free access to electronic resources subscribed by the SGH Library:
ca. 30 000 titles of foreign journals in the electronic form, available on site
or off-campus.
• while the European Documentation Centre
- shelters the collection related to the EU issues and integration process in Europe,
- supports to search for materials, both in print and electronic resources.
